How do you approach strategy?
We aim to design a website that differentiates from your competitors, and that's where strategy comes in. Value proposition, branding, positioning, goals and key benefits and messages are all covered in our Strategy Workshop.
What do you need from us?
We'll need to know all about your business, brand, products, competitors and target customers. This will be discussed in Discovery and Strategy workshops. It's essential to have a plan that all the stakeholders are signed up to.
What happens after launch?
We provide maintenance and support to make sure your website is working and deal with any issues. A Service Level Agreement details how we will provide support. Our Website Optimisation service provides ongoing work that tracks and improves the performance of your B2B website.

How do you approach discovery?

How will you set goals?
In the Discovery and Strategy phases we work with you to set SMART goals for your website. These goals tie in to what your business needs to grow. Who will work on our project?
Each website project at Bigfork has a dedicated Project Manager who would be your main point of contact. Your website project will involve all our team including Digital Marketers, Web Designers, Web Developers, Copywriters and any other specialists required. Meet our team.
What's your approach to user focused design?
At the start of every project we like to gain an understanding of the user, what their pain points are what they need to see on your website. This helps us map out content plans and user journeys, as well as design user friendly site navigation and page layouts.
Are you the right size agency for us?
We are small but mighty! Our clients range from global corporates to SMEs with websites of all sizes. If we don't think we're the right people for the job or we can't deliver what you need, then we'll tell you. Apart from our core team, we also have a network of freelance specialists and partner agencies who we use and recommend when needed.
How do you build in SEO from the start?
We start off with an SEO audit of your existing website to see where the issues are, which then becomes part of the on site SEO plan. Keyword research and ranking reports help us plan the website structure and content.
How long does a website take?
Our website process is all about delivering value and quality. Typically this takes 4-6 months but does depend on the project scope.
What CMS platforms do you work with?
Our team work mainly with WordPress and Silverstripe. We can also develop websites in Statamic and Craft. Check out our "How to choose the right CMS" for more info.
What’s your experience in integrating with tech stacks?
Our dev team are experienced in integrations with most of the main tech stacks clients use - Hubspot, Salesforce, Capsule, Pardot. We can also integrate websites with most email marketing tools, secure payment providers and ERP systems.
Who owns the code, designs, and content when the project is finished?
Once the website is signed off, live and paid for, it's yours. There are no hidden clauses or nasty surprises. You are free to continue working with us, take it in house or appoint someone else. All our websites are custom builds, but they are built on open source CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Silverstripe. Which means most experienced developers will be able to work on them.
How do you handle scope changes and new ideas?
Every Bigfork website project starts with a website specification. We know that this often changes as the project progresses and we have flexibility built into our process to allow for scope changes.
What does communication look like during the project?
Every project is run by a dedicated Project Manager who is the main point of contact. A regular meeting schedule is agreed to update progress and make decisions. We create a time flow at the beginning of the project with milestones so that everyone one involved knows who is doing what, and when it's needed by.
Do you host websites?
Yes we do. It’s vital to make sure you get the right type of hosting for your website. We work with reliable hosting partners to make sure your B2B website is fast and reliable. Paying for high quality hosting is essential if your website is important to your business (which it should be!). How will my website be maintained?
Our work doesn’t stop when your new website goes live. Making sure it’s bug free and up to date with security patches is a ‘must have’ service you’ll receive from us. If you need a more proactive service then our monthly Website Optimisation service is there to improve your sites performance.
